Guatemala TRAction Project Dissemination and Close-out Event

On May 29th, 2014, the TRAction Guatemala Project held an event to disseminate findings and results of our technical cooperation approach. Seventy people attended the event, including officials from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance, SEGEPLAN, partners of USAID  and team members from the Nutri Salud Project. TRAction Guatemala presented results from the following key areas:

Strengthening maternal mortality surveillance: A case study was presented that documents the implementation of the Maternal Mortality Surveillance System in Alta Veracruz.

Strengthening MNCHN network services in Ixil: A preliminary report was presented from a qualitative-quantitative situational analysis on Maternal and Child Health in the Ixil Health    Area.

Scaling up of Management for Results (MfR) strategy: A process evaluation was presented that describes the scaling-up of the MfR strategy.
