Implementation Science Fellowship Program

Implementation Science Fellowship Word Cloud
The Implementation Science Fellowship provides opportunities for doctoral and masters-level public health professionals with experience in implementation research and delivery science methods and practice (IRDS) to help expand the field of implementation science.

The fellows support a collaborative effort on IRDS between the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Bank, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Fellows serve as members of the IRDS Secretariat, contribute to the development of case studies featuring successful strategies and lessons learned from implementing IRDS studies in a range of countries and contexts, and contribute to white papers on critical IRDS elements.

Fellowship placements will be at the WHO in Geneva, Switzerland, the World Bank in Washington, DC or the USAID in Washington, DC. The Fellowships will be full-time up to six months. The Fellowship Program will provide transportation, a modest housing and living stipend, and evacuation insurance (if applicable). Applicants should provide health insurance from a host institution.

The Fellowship Program is supported with funds from the US Government through the USAID I TRAction Project, managed by the University Research Co. (URC).
